In the face of devastating floods that swept through the villages of Ramdass and Ajnala. The spirit of selfless service shone brightly through a collaborative effort led by Carmelite Social Services, in partnership with St. Joseph convent school and Mount Carmel Schools. This initiative was a testament to the power of community, bringing together staff and volunteers to provide crucial support to those affected by the natural disaster. Our teams mobilized swiftly to the most affected areas, where the destruction was widespread and urgent help was needed. With homes submerged and livelihood lost, our primary goal was to provide immediate relief. We distributed essential survival kits that included non-perishable food items, clean drinking water, and blankets to help families cope with displacement. Recognizing the health risks posed by floodwaters, mobile medical unit was also deployed to offer first aid and treat waterborne illness, ensuring the well-being of the affected residents. Fr.
